Some more laments

Daniel, thank you for the wind-up trotsky toy rhetoric!
Ever since I came out of my trotskyist closet, you just can't stop throwing shit on me! You know, that's just a little bit weird, because I've been posting all my shit on Twitter for weeks and my style was the same for countless years, so I really don't know the logic behind your attitude! Do you have some ego-dystonic trotskyophobia which you must let out on me or what the fuck?

Or is it because I used the f-word? I told you why I used the word and you also know that words representing homosexuality are widely used without a homophobic tone in Hungarian language. (Or maybe it is because our culture is so homophobic, but nevertheless they are used by non-homophobes as well.)

Actually it was more probably because of my rants about multi-culturalism after which you said I have an "unhealthy faith in the state" which is total bullshit! First, the fact that I'm not an anarchist doesn't make my faith in the state (i.e. the workers' state) automatically unhealthy, but second I dodn't actually imply any faith in the state, so I might just as well be an anarchist too! It's a huge nonsense to assume that you cannot change culture without the apparatus of legitimized political violence. In fact, culture was most often changed without and even against the will of the state.

Here's a little song for your pleasure: youtu.be/zgKazTrhXmI
They are coming to Budapest on the 5th of June!
Daniel,

If you do not want me to comment, then say so and I will not. Facebook allows comments, so I offer my comments. I know it is hard to take criticism - but if you cannot take criticism from someone who generally agrees with you then how will you take it from your true enemies?

I will be honest with you: I think your newfound Trotskyism is two-dimensional and you sound like a born again christian reading quotes from the bible they learned at church last sunday. Your comments about Multiculturalism were illogical and insulting to anyone not part of the dominant culture in Hungary. (I would think you will understand that!) Your use of the word Fag is even more insulting! Do you seriously think this is not insulting to LGBT people?! What century do you think this is? Please consult Comrade Trotsky about what time it is. I hope to see you on the streets at the next Pride March explaining this while we fight off the fascists.

Political language is important. If we cannot speak in terms that are honest and clear to people then we will be quickly rejected. I try everyday to speak clearly in what I write and I still fail! Look at the Occupy March on the 12th: it had no coherent message, none at all! They could not even unify under a single vague utopian notion. Little wonder that the Occupy idea (ideal?) has not moved forward here when it is clouded by crazed conspiracy theory fans and mystical meditationists and others to whom this is the first (and probably the last) experience with activism.

No, I'm not a fan of Mr Trotsky and his followers, but I am happy that you try to make it happen here. But does this mean I should not offer criticism? Does the authoritarian mindset develop so fast? Come on! f only there was no criticism from *** the masses would certainly follow us, yeah? Oh, please!

As for your video... Again, why do we look to the USSR and that experience as relevant and useful to our own times? Why not something more recent and interesting? The Egyptian Revolution, for example, has more relevance to our experience in Hungary than the Red Army Choir! Left-wing politics should speak about the future, not indulge in pointless nostalgia for the past. But sure enough, this is Hungary where ALL politics are about the past. You should be creating something new and different, I think.

If you cant handle criticism from your friends, then who do you prefer it from?

Cheers!
First of all, the Red Army song was just a stupid joke! I didn't mean it. I don't sympathize with the SU to any degree and I totally agree that it's completely relevant today. Although I really respect the efforts of the Russian people and the music is really good. I like to listen to it on the way, or even play it on a house party. These songs are totally cool! But yes, nostalgia is useless and we must always think about the present and the future.

Actually my point is that I thought you started hating me! When you complained about the f-word and my critcism of multucult, that was totally okay and I really respected that. However, your last 2 comments didn't make any point, and you were totally cold when we met on the street, so it was logical to think you have some stupid grudge against me! Yes, that's what I thought! I don't give a shit when my "enemies" hate me, but when my allies start to hate me, I really get nervous! I do a lot of stupid things from time to time, but I am never so profoundly stupid that I would deserve any kind of hatred on the left wing, so I cannot tolerate it. But I really like smart criticism and it always makes me think, so please just keep criticizing!

If you think I'm an authoritarian asshole bashing the table while having no clue about Marxism, well, that has truly nothing to do with Trotsky! I've been calling myself communist since my early teenage years, and that's also when I started listening to Soviet music and I wrote 'LENIN' on the blackboard. That was in high school some twelve years ago.

I agree that the F-word is totally insulting and humiliating both in English and in Hungarian when applied to a homosexual person. It might also be a bad idea to use it on obviously heterosexual people like UMP supporters, because other people get encouraged to use the words on homos as well, and that's not cool. After you complained, I changed my mind and removed the whole thing from my wall. Actually I go to the Pride march every year, so I'm really on the gay side. For two years they even sign me up for assistance to check the bags and watch the crowd. Once I called the egg throwers across the cordons "nazi fags" (which is "köcsög nácik" in Hungarian) but it didn't become an issue.

Catholicism is actually deep within the dominant culture of Hungary, so I really fail to see the reason why it's wrong to bash them! If I were living in some shitty red state in the South, I would probably bash evangelicals and baptists instead. But I agree, I was wrong about multi-culturalism! It is actually the idea of political correctness which I really hate. The proponents of diversity always claim that every religion is magnificent and we have to respect them. God damn it, no! They are not magnificent! All of them are full of shit! All of them must be bashed. Actually that's why multi-culturalism is so great. It prevents the shit of all these cultures from being enforced. It just castrates them, and that's truly wondeful! But the point is that it tries to castrate the one and only culture which must never be castrated because it is the one which created it in the first place. This is the world of postmodernism where the idea of progress and the great narrative of socialism is destroyed. Multi-culturalism is a modern idea because it is rational. If we destroy modernity, we destroy multi-culturalism as well. We must fight against the menace of post-modernism with all our strength...

But I get the point that for example muslims, being a weak and discriminated minority, feel humiliated when people criticize Islam and that might be one reason why I haven't really criticized it lately. But then again, why did these people leave their home country and come to Europe? Because their home country is full of shit! That's it. That's a sordid fact. Sure as hell there was imperialism which is extremely evil and hypocritical even today, but it doesn't change the fact that the dominant culture and mentality of their home country is completely full of shit! You can't just blame imperialism for everything. Finland and South Korea used to be colonies as well.

The problem is the same as that of gypsies not getting jobs. They came to Europe, tried to become more or less European, but they were confronted with everyday racism and many of them retreated back to their ancient culture to find solace. This is actually happening and it's foolish to deny it. We can't just let them do this!

The problem is post-modernism. The destruction of the idea of progress. Back in the 50's there was a universal narrative of progress called the "social democratic consensus". It was brought down in the 80's, so now we have the neoliberal consensus and this bullshit called multi-culturalism or whatever. The white trash is also retreating back to their ancient bullshit. You can see that very clearly in Hungary, but also in France. And the post-modern left is completely unable to give an answer, which you can see in the problems and the very possible failure of the Occupy movement. You just wrote it: conspiracist idiots and all the disgusting new age mysticism. Some lunatics like the Zeitgeist folks even combine the two. And it's going nowhere. It's going towards the complete destruction of the left.

Anyway, I have this bad feeling that you don't really want to debate with me! You the holy super-empathic and super-wise contemporary netizen find it much too derogatory to argue with the stupid narrow-minded authoritarian sunday school trotskyist. So let's just finish this conversation. From now on I will gracefully ignore your stupid sardonic remarks.

Actually I'm not a hard line trotskyist. For now, I would much rather prefer for example Jean-Luc Mélenchon as my idol. But I really like the people in CWI!

[JLM is a great dude, but not nearly as great as Trotsky, so I think it's better to be a hard-line trot instead. Plus the CWI has not only great people, but great ideas and arguments as well, which is really cool!]

P.S. Okay, the penultimate paragraph was foolish! I guess you just find it pointless to argue about such "vague philosophical questions". Let there be peace and love! But then again, we MUST argue about "vague philosophical questions" in order to even vaguely see what the fuck is going on!
